Our Twilight Academy Economics Class had a visit to the Peekskill Museum. None of us had beent here before. Mr. Augustowski gave us a tour of the building. We saw many beautiful things from the past. We saw an exhibit of Elton Brand things since he is part of history now too. In the back there was a room with many iron stoves that Peekskill built in the 1900s. They were shipped down the Hudson River. He told us how we had the natural resources to make stoves and all the steps involved in making them. We saw pictures of the factories and the men who worked there. We saw so many things we would like to go back there.
