Global Gourmet Gathering
On December 11, 2013, the PHS Exchange Club hosted an international dinner event for current and new members. Exchange Club students made a variety of dishes from all over the world. Students were treated to dishes such as:
- Arroz con Pollo (rice with chicken) from Panama made by Dwayne Lamont
- Pernil (roast pork) from Puerto Rico made by Vincent Memoli
- Steak balls from Germany made by Ms. Day
- Tostadillas from Mexico made by Ms. Day
- Corn Meal Bread from the Dominican Republic made by Rayvin Jones
- Chocolate Chip Cake from Denmark made by Juwan Lawton
- Pumpkin Pecan Muffins from Jamaica made by Rayvin Jones
- Malta beverage from Puerto Rico brought by Vincent Memoli
In total, more than 25 students attended this annual event. Ms. Day said it was a “Great Success!!!”
