Dear Mercury,
I want to get a cell phone and I don’t have the money for one. How do I get a job?
Poor Boy
Dear Poor Boy,
First of all it depends how old you are. If you are 16 & older you can
get a job almost anywhere where they are hiring. However times are
hard & most places are not hiring. But try it anyway – Good Luck!!

MORE ADVICE:
Dear Poor Boy,
You should go to some teen job sites like: www.snagajob.com, and www.MyFirstPaycheck.com

Dear Poor Boy,
In order to get a job, you have to go out and get one. It’s not just going to hit you in your face. You have to look and see what fits you the best. Good luck!

Dear Poor Boy,
Well, first start applying to jobs where you know you can get them, the ones that fit your age. Make sure you make a good resume. Eventually you should be able to buy a cell phone. It all takes time, don’t rush it, and don’t get frustrated if you don’t get a job quickly. Keep trying.
