Global Gourmet Gathering


On December 11, 2013, the PHS Exchange Club hosted an international dinner event for current and new members.  Exchange Club students made a variety of dishes from all over the world.  Students were treated to dishes such as:

  1. Arroz con Pollo (rice with chicken) from Panama made by Dwayne Lamont
  2. Pernil (roast pork) from Puerto Rico made by Vincent Memoli
  3. Steak balls from Germany made by Ms. Day
  4. Tostadillas from Mexico made by Ms. Day
  5. Corn Meal Bread from the Dominican Republic made by Rayvin Jones
  6. Chocolate Chip Cake from Denmark made by Juwan Lawton
  7. Pumpkin Pecan Muffins from Jamaica made by Rayvin Jones
  8. Malta beverage from Puerto Rico brought by Vincent Memoli

In total, more than 25 students attended this annual event.  Ms. Day said it was a “Great Success!!!”
