On June 5, Peekskill High School’s Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), led by adviser S. McCarron, celebrated Pride by distributing a variety of pride-themed gifts to students during all lunch periods. The event aimed to promote inclusivity and support within the school community.
GSA members gave out an array of pride gifts, including pins, flags, stickers, and friendship bracelets adorned with the colors of pride. These bracelets were handmade by GSA members, adding a personal touch to the celebration.
The celebration was a vibrant display of solidarity and community spirit, reinforcing Peekskill High School’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
