Mr. Ortiz, modified wrestling coach was inspired by the dedication and hard work of seventh grader Tylell Linen and eighth grader Donald William as they finish their wrestling season with outstanding performance. They each proved their love for wrestling and demonstrated that being a Champion doesn’t mean winning every match. A true champion takes their ability, talent and hard work to its highest potential, which is what Tylell and Donald demonstrated. As a team we want to thank the Peekskill School District, administration and the community for their continuous support. A special thanks to Athletic Director Lou Panzanaro, Varsity Coaches Mike Telesco, and Nick Harris for their dedication and work to maintain the art of wrestling alive and striving! I invite young athletes who are dedicated, committed, motivated, goal focused, willing to learn and fearless to join the wrestling team so that together we can build the Peekskill Wrestling Program to become the power house it once was!
