JV Basketball Team Skims by Ossining
The Peekskill JV Basketball team headed by coach Brian Panzanaro squeezed by the Ossining Pride in a close 45-43 game. “The game was close the entire time” said forward, Ty-Reese Gibbs. Going into halftime the game was tied 21-21. Ossining started to get a pull and in the last three minutes the Red Devils tied the game up. Peekskill then pulled ahead due to Ossining foul. Nigel Brown ended up hitting a 3 pointer which gave Peekskill the lead by two. In the last 3 seconds of the game, Gibbs inbounded the ball halfway down the court to Nigel Brown who then made a layup and landed the 2 pointer! This victory gives the Peekskill JV Team a 2-0 record on the season.
