Little Shop of Horrors: Great Show, Yes with Horrors
The Peekskill Drama Club again put on an outstanding production of an American musical: Little Shop of Horrors, in which it doesn’t pay to have a green thumb. Peekskill High School’s very talented seniors were helped out by underclassmen and truly excelled in their final theatrical performance. Sheridan Alexander as Seymour, Somoya Jimerson as Audrey, Sterling Fite as Mr. Mushnik, were highlights, along with Manny Henry as a motorcycle riding dentist who laughs himself to… well, you had to have been there. The terrific voices of Qiana Malcolm, Brittany Brown, Destiny Mosley, and Afua Yeboah added a lot of class, and humor was provided by Juwan Lawton, Paige Hill, Ariel Ortiz, Adriana Hurtado, Josh Gailliard, and many more characters. Thanks to the musicians, including Mr. John Hahn, and to advisors Scarlett Antonia, Karla Thompson and Laura Belfiore.
