Peekskill Falls to Magnus 56 – 49 at the County Center
The Peekskill Lady Red Devils faced a hard uphill battle for the third year in a row defending their title against Albertus Magnus. Peekskill fell behind early in the game and was never able to recover. However, the Lady red Devils never let Magnus stay more than 10 points ahead of them. Fouls were the name of this game and the Red Devils seemed to have every call go against them. By bottom of the third quarter Peekskill’s started gaining momentum and pulled the game to within 1 point. Unfortunately, the Lady Red Devils were unable to gain the advantage.
