MAY DEADLINES

Automotive Hall of Fame Scholarships

• 3.0 GPA or higher with an interest in an automotive career and two letters of recommendation.

Educational Communications Scholarship Foundation

• Competitive high school students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Must be U.S. citizen and have taken the SAT or ACT.

Christopher Columbus Society Scholarship

• Applicant’s parent(s) must be of Italian descent and be a U.S. Citizen. Community service and good academic standing, SAT scores and class ranking top 25.

Corinthian Lodge #44

• Must be an African-American male senior, attending Peekskill or Ossining High School.
• Have a grade point average of C+ or better and community involvement.

Garden Club of Peekskill

• Students studying in the fields of horticulture, landscape design, botany, plant pathology, forestry, agronomy and environment studies.

Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce Scholarships

• The $1,000.00 scholarship awards are given annually to students who high school seniors pursuing are advanced level education in one of the following fields: Arts, Business, Communications, Education, Entrepreneurial Studies, Health Care and Technical Trades.
• Special consideration is given to first-generation college students.

Jenna’s Dream Performing Arts Scholarship

• Jenna’s Dream, Inc. provides college scholarships to outstanding seniors who are planning to continue their education in the performing arts.

Peekskill Teachers’ Aide Scholarship

• Seniors that must be continuing their education and have a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Dr. Rev. G. Franklin Wiggins Scholarship

• Seniors who plan to attend a vocational school, a two or four year college or a historically black college. GPA must be C to C+, possess good moral character, be self-motivated, and has a financial need.

Peekskill Rotary Club, Fontana Scholarship

• This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who will be continuing their education in the field of music as a major or minor. Seniors with a GPA of 2.5

Peekskill Rotary Club’s George Sampson

• The Rotary Club’s George Sampson Memorial Scholarship is for the benefit of a graduating senior wishing to pursue a particular skill, craft, or trade as possible career. This senior should be entering a trade school, apprenticeship, or other learning program for this skill.
• Seniors with a GPA of 2.5

Rotary Club of Peekskill – Raymond Lapolla Scholarship

• This award is available to graduating seniors based upon school participation, community involvement, financial need and academic standing. Applicants are required to complete an application form and submit a brief essay. Seniors with a GPA of 3.0
