Amira Sealy, PHS Junior, bowled last Saturday in the NYS Championships on a team with 5 other high school bowlers from Westchester. They placed 4th in the state. Amira’s bowling average is usually 161. For the 6 games in this tournament, her average was 189.
Amira has been bowling for six years in a league in Yonkers. She also bowls with her mother and grandmother; they’re all bowlers and practice together.
Amira will be in a summer bowling league in White Plains and plans to continue bowling when she goes to college.
