Congratulations to Peekskill High School’s Advanced Science Research (ASR) student Brittney Pauta for being accepted to the New York Medical College STAR Program, which matches a student to conduct authentic research with a medical scientist/professor at NY Medical College. Brittney is the first PHS ASR student to be accepted to this program.  She will work this summer with Dr. Kobets to research epigenetics. When Brittney returns in fall, she will have real data to write her research paper, and compete in prestigious fairs.
