Slam Poet David Blair will perform at our school library this Wednesday January 5th. Students can come from lunch or study hall or if given a pass from their teacher. If you can’t come 4th period, you can catch David at the Field Library after school.

| BLAIR
Returning Field Library favorite, David Blair, is a poet, singer-songwriter, performer, and spoken word artist whose work is nationally recognized.
Hailing from the Motor City, Blair is a National Poetry Slam Champion (2002) and Detroit Grand Slam Champion (2003). His work has been published in a number of journals and newspapers around the country.
In 2005, Blair was the featured artist on the HBO Def Poetry Jam website, and he has been a longtime artist-in-residence in the Detroit public school system.
Blair and his band, Urban Folk Collective, have shared bills with Stevie Wonder, Wilco, Richie Havens and other well-known musicians!
Pizza and refreshments will be served ~ Free Admission!
