The math honor society is sponsoring a monthly contest. A student can win a $10 iTunes gift card just for answering a math question.
One student’s correct entry will be selected at random from all correct entries submitted by Wednesday, November 25th, 2009.
Questions are posted here in Mercury and also on the MHS Bulletin Board on the first floor of PHS.
November’s Math Question is:
Name three, three digit numbers composed of three distinct digits, such that one digit is the average of the other two. Justify your answers.
Submit entries to a math teacher on or before November 25th!
