A few months ago I visited Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. It’s in a suburban area, and has less than 2,500 undergrad students. It’s a liberal arts college with majors in the areas of social sciences, visual and performing arts, cultural and gender studies, biological and biomedical studies, communications and journalism, computer and information science, English language and literature, history, liberal arts and sciences, mathematics, multi-interdisciplinary studies, natural resources and conservation, psychology, and philosophy and religion. It’s a beautiful and quiet school with division III athletics. Whether you are a Mac or a PC, the library at Vassar has a computer center with both formats of computers, and there is free wi-fi Internet, across the campus. The co-ed dorms are being renovated and look very modern. For more information go to, www.vassar.edu, and check out this video of the beautiful campus, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSEKOqnJV5o&feature=player_embedded#
