Drama Club Honored at Board of Education Meeting
On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, the Peekskill City School District Board of Education recognized the cast and crew of this year’s fall production of The Breakfast Club. Drama Club members were honored with a certificate of achievement, a short video montage of the performances, and a standing ovation. The Drama Club performed live in front of friends, family, and the community on December 4-6. The play was split between two casts. Each cast brought the story of John Hughes The Breakfast Club to life. Each cast brought their own unique perspective to their performances. The Drama Club received compliments and a standing ovation after each performance for doing such an amazing job. Each cast and crew member brought depth, talent and passion to each of their roles and truly brought the characters to life. Each cast was unique and that is what made each performance so amazing.
