When Mercury went on line three years ago, Dottie Bradshaw was our first student reporter. Through her time here, she
has proved to be an invaluable member of our project. We have appreciated Dottie’s contributions. Her words, thoughts, and pictu
res have helped make Mercury and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. We know that she will accomplish great things in her life. Here are some of the parting words that Dottie wanted to share with Mercury’s readers:
This year ended very quickly. Graduating is a bittersweet feeling. It hasn’t really hit me that I will not be coming back as a student in Peekskill High School ,but I know it will probably hit me as I start my way down to Bennett College in Greenesboro,North Carolina. I am so grateful that I got to be a Red Devil. I accomplished and have grown so much in the past four years. I appreciate everyone I met here: from my coaches (Mr.Headly and Mr.Pappas), to my friends (Kiera,Troi, Asia, Shaina and Adriane),and of course, Mr. Tosto, they really supported me . High school is a great experience but I am glad I am done with it. Congratulations to everyone who is graduating. Good Luck in everything you do in the rest of your life. I was proud to represent Peekskill High School Class of 2012, as their Vice-President.
