UPDATE: No-Shave November = A Holiday to Remember

UPDATE%3A+No-Shave+November+%3D+A+Holiday+to+Remember

Last month, 11 men of Peeksill High School joined forces and vowed NOT to shave their facial hair in order to raise money for a families in need in Peekskill. As it turns out, the men were able to raise a a whopping $1,000 through online and cash donations. The money they raised was turned into gift cards and donated to families who will now be able to afford Christmas or Chanukah gifts or a nice holiday dinner over the winter break.  Several faculty members stated reasons why they participated. Mr. Mueller said, “I feel this was a great cause and would be a great gift to those families who may not be able to afford holiday dinners or gifts to celebrate the holidays.” Mr. Goess stated “I wanted to do No Shave November because I’m doing it for a good cause and I also want to help out with the community.” Mr. Miller stated, “I’m doing it for a good cause and it shows good school spirit.”

A special thanks goes out to the PHS Faculty & Staff especially the men who participated in making the No-Shave November cause a phenomenal success.
