Okay, so you are pretty sure that you will be graduating in June. Congratulations! Now what?
Maybe you didn’t get into any of the colleges on your wish list. Maybe you don’t have enough money put together to do college right now. Maybe you don’t know if college is for you. All of these are valid reasons to be concerned and confused about what you will be doing September 2012.
The best advice is – Don’t panic. Don’t jump into something that doesn’t feel right. Don’t feel forced to do college -just because…. The cost of college is high. The drop out rate is also high. You don’t want to become soemone without a degree, without money, and without purpose. Of these , probably the last attribute- purpose, is the most important. It is true, many people find their purpose in college. For others the path is different. You have to find out what is best for you, but the answer will definitely not come sitting home on the couch waiting for something to happen. You have to get out and DO..
The following list of possible non-college choices may contain an answer for you or may provide you with a starting point on the path which is life- Good Luck!
