Located in Gainesville, Florida, and home of the Gators, is the University of Florida. It is ranked number 47 on the 2010 U.S. News Best National Colleges. The University of Florida is a public college; the largest in the state, and the admissions officers are very selective, with an acceptance rate of 38%. They have many majors and 16 colleges. If you love warm weather, Alligators, and a great football team, you should look into this school.
