People see me as they want

And that’s ok

As long as I know who I really am

From my head to my toes

The hair on my head isn’t all mines but it makes me who I am today

And makes me something I am not

The pimples on my face

Tells me I’m growing up

Which a lot of people need to do

The embarrassing laugh shows

I love having a good time and I don’t care for people who don’t

The scars on my body tell me I’m growing up but I get knocked down by people who are insecure

And to scared to live life on edge

People always try to bring me down

But still I rise

And go through life with pride in my self

Yes my skin is a darker tone but it shows me no two people are the same

And yes I am a little chubby

But I have a big heart inside just trying to give all the love and joy I have in me and get a lot of people mad because I still work with what I got

So I’m comfortable in the skin I’m in

So to everyone that just trying to knock me down

Or just like to run their mouth

I’m comfortable in the body and skin I am

But how comfortable are you

Since you still trying to ruin me

Long Lost Friends

When you left me
You left a deep mark
It sort of looked like a footprint on my heart
When we finally said good bye
I know it was the hardest thing to say
Because I know I started to remember all the good days
I remember when we said “sisters for life”
Well who knew that life could end on such a short notice?
Now all I can say ” is man this is bogus”
Cuz who do I run to with all of my secrets
Even the ones I said I wouldn’t tell

Who do I share all my hopes and dreams with?

Because we were a dream team
When we were together we caused a major scene
But now that’s all over I don’t know what to do
Because deep down in my heart
I still love you
But now
My world seems so silent
Gets so angry
Makes me feel violent
Well at least I know
The first days will always be the hardest
This hurt will go the farthest
This cut will be the deepest
But forever in my heart
Our memories
Our friendship
Will be the deepest

I talk in silence because I know the real people will hear me
and ask me what’s wrong
they will see through a fake smile
and hear me through a fake laugh
and tell me to look forward to the future and not worry about my past
they will tell me one day you will have what you always wanted
and I should only dream what I can make come to reality
and leave the make believe in a fantasy
I talk,see,and dream in silence
so I dare you to enter my world
and find out that I am a determined focused girl
but I only talk in silence and if you are true
then you will understand why I do
and that’s when I promise I will speak out loud for you
so right now I only speak to you in silence
see if u can pass the test
because if you cant treat me right when I’m at my worst
you don’t deserve me at my best
so I speak in silence now and hope you understand
I can only stay true
but if u can’t then I will speak in silence when I’m with you
but if things get worst
I wont say nothing to you

School’s back in session

So grab your binder and pen

It’s back to wakin up at 6:30 all over again.

Tryin to see if you can wake up

To walk to school with your friend

So you can get there before 8:11 when the first period begins.

You walk into class, thankin God you’re on time

Now tryin to stay focused, knowing it’s the last thing on your mind.

Everyone heard about the new kid in town

Tryin to check them, tryin to see what they’re about.

Everyone’s really waitin for Spirit Day

but it’s only the first day, so it seems far away.

That’s when school spirit really counts

Your chance to show what class and school spirit is really about.

Freshmen barely know what to do

Sophomores kinda got a clue

Juniors know what to do

but then Seniors

say we got this, we’re never goin to lose.

The new principal, on top of her game

Ms. Lazarus is her name

She’s trying her best as far as I can see

Tryin to make PHS, the best place to be.

PHS is the school

that rocks Crimson and Blue

Where all the Red Devils know what to do.

From 8:08 to 2:45 is the time

when school should be the only thing on our mind.

So after four years you can yell,

” Free at Last”

and walk the graduation line wth your class.

Summer vacation was fun

but now it’s the time to put all those memories to rest

See you next year, though

Now it’s time to put my best effort

into PHS!
